Many diets offer unrealistic recommendations that are impossible to achieve within our busy day. Even more important, diets don't teach us the safest, most effective ways to exercise; they don't teach us how to deal with stress and manage our modern life style.
It happens too often that a dieter will eventually become tired and confused with the complexity, lack of time to prepare, hunger, tasteless food, low energy levels and the feeling of deprivation of the diet. They quit the diet and gain back the weight they have lost; sometimes gaining back even more!
Each time we go on another diet of deprivation, the weight becomes more difficult to lose, and we become even more frustrated and discouraged. Then we eat more and exercise less, causing ourselves more frustration, discouragement and depression. Soon we are in a vicious cycle.
We begin to ask ourselves, "Why bother?" We begin to blame ourselves for having no will power when what we really need is clear, realistic plan that offers a complete approach to nutrition lifestyle and exercise. This approach needs to deliver results, be balanced and offer a simpler solution than diet efforts in the past. Pitfalls of the common diet
